The Office of Research, The Office of Student Research, and University Libraries are excited to be hosting the inaugural research celebration, "RECAPP: Research & Creative Activity at Appalachian" on Friday, October 18, 2019! The event will be held on the fourth floor of Belk Library & Information Commons from 4:30 - 6:30pm.
This event celebrates all research, scholarship, and creative endeavors - funded and unfunded - of Appalachian Faculty and Staff. During the event, faculty and staff will present posters, digital presentations, art, and/or performances. We anticipate having 40-50 slots for presentations/displays/art pieces and 6 for performances.
Please submit your research, scholarship and/or creative endeavor abstract to be part of this event at https://appstate.infoready4.com/#competitionDetail/1789270 . Presentations will be chosen to display a wide range of topics and disciplines.
The deadline for Proposals is September 3, 2019 at 12PM. Applicants will be notified of presentation acceptance or declination by September 12, 2019 at 5PM.
