Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that Dr. Twila Wingrove has accepted my offer to serve as the Director of Research Data Analysis here in the Office of Research. Dr. Wingrove came to Appalachian in 2009 and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Director of the Experimental Master’s program. She brings to the position a wealth of experience in quantitative data analysis and a keen commitment to data management and security. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology as well as a Juris Doctorate, both from the University of Nebraska. She can be reached at rda@appstate.edu or wingroveta@appstate.edu.
I also want to take this opportunity to again thank Dr. Shawn Bergman for his outstanding service as the founding Director of the Office of Research Consultation (now renamed Research Data Analysis). Dr. Bergman successfully created a unit that now effectively serves faculty across all disciplines within the University.
