February 14-16th on the 4th floor of the Plemmons Student Union, Appalachian State University will be hosting Fulbright Week 2023. Led by the United States government in partnership with more than 160 countries worldwide, the Fulbright Program offers international educational and cultural exchange programs for passionate and accomplished students, scholars, artists, teachers, and professionals of all backgrounds to study, teach, or pursue important research and professional projects. This event will detail opportunities for both faculty and students.

The Fulbright Scholar Program offers over 500 teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty, administrators.
The Fulbright Student Program in partnership with more than 140 countries worldwide, offers unparalleled opportunities in all academic disciplines to passionate and accomplished graduating college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals from all backgrounds. Program participants pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad.
