The Office of Research is excited to offer you a new resource to find external grant and funding opportunities—the Pivot (ProQuest) funding opportunity database. The Pivot platform alerts you to relevant funding announcements as they are released, allows you to track and share funding opportunities, and supports the creation of saved searches and groups of researchers.
Pivot (ProQuest), is now available through single sign-on with your App State username and password and has replaced our former subscription database, SPIN.
We are offering the following assistance for new users:
- A Pivot training session will be offered Wednesday, January 26, 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Please register here.
This training will help new users:
- Set up a new account
- Claim or create their profile
- Design and save a search query
- Explore additional features of the database
