Are you an early career faculty with a research agenda and interested in growing your mentor network?
The Office of Research and CETLSS is offering a Mentoring Up for Early Career Investigators program January - March.
This program will use a curriculum provided by the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER) that is "intended for training early career investigators in academic research. The curriculum as a whole is designed to benefit a broad range of scholars irrespective of the research they are engaged in or the stage of their mentoring relationships."
Topics covered will include maintaining effective communication, aligning expectations, approaching work-life integration, addressing equity and inclusion, building research self-efficacy, achieving independence, and seeking professional development.
Meetings will be on:
January 25 (10:00-11:00 a.m., in person)
February 8 (10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Zoom)
February 22 (10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Zoom)
March 8 (10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Zoom)
March 22 (10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Zoom)
