National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Summer Stipends

To support individuals pursuing advanced research that is of value to humanities scholars, general audiences, or both.


Eligible projects usually result in articles, monographs, books, digital materials and publications, archaeological site reports, translations, or editions.

ORAU Travel Grants

To support travel to develop collaborations with other ORAU, ORNL, or Y-12 partners. Preference is given to those applicants working on projects related to ORAU’s mission to:

-Strengthen America’s scientific research and education enterprise to enhance global competitiveness

-Build public trust and confidence in the management of worker health and environmental clean-up initiatives

-Enhance our nation’s preparedness to respond to emergencies related to terrorist incidents, natural disasters and health threats
