This event is facilitated by the Office of International Education and Development and  Appalachian's Fulbright Representatives; Dr. Suzanna L. Brauer, Professor, Department of Biology, and Dr. Paul Wallace, Professor of Instructional Technology, Department of Leadership and Educational Studies. 

This is a two-part event from 10 am - 12 pm (with a ten-minute bio-break in between).

SCHEDULE:

Part 1 (10 am):  "Getting started: Developing the Idea, Identifying a Location, Making the Right Connections"

This presentation is a primer on the first steps in approaching the Fulbright Scholarship process.  

Break (10:50 am)

Part 2 (11 am):  "Fulbright with Family"

This presentation will provide valuable information for prospective faculty and staff considering a Fulbright experience with family. Topics such as finding partner institutions, the application process, and financial considerations will be addressed, as well as schooling, family activities, and tips for travel and daily life abroad.
