Celebrating Open Access week and stimulating research collaborations at Appalachian State University
Come join us for a Research Speed Networking Event during Open Access Week on Monday, October 22nd from 4-6 pm in Belk Library & Information Commons, Room 421.
Speed Networking takes its cues from Speed Dating where participants are in a structured environment that allows them to interact with other individuals for a series of brief one-on-one exchanges of information. Where there is mutual interest they continue to follow up with one another. This is your chance to meet your colleagues and learn a little about their research and research collaboration opportunities on campus! Light refreshments will be served.

Come prepared to share your research ideas with up to 30 colleagues in a fast-paced round robin environment.
Be prepared to answer the following three questions in 5 minutes or less:
1. What is your top research interest?
2. What expertise are you looking for in a research partner?
3. What can you offer a research partner?
